Texplorers is seeking a Tableau Developer to join our Analytics team here in the US.

Key Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with data analysts to define ETL processes to support data visualization requirements in support of business analytics
Creates interactive stories, dashboards and visualizations leveraging Tableau.
Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook.
Working knowledge of Tableau architecture.
Advanced Tableau development skills.
Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modelling, and normalization of Oracle DB
Creates functional and technical documentation related to business intelligence solution.
Develops or acquires test data and initiates tests to determine the accuracy of reporting logic to produce desired results.
Meets with users for clarification and elaboration to define a problem and conceptualize a development plan.
Recognizes, gathers, and analyzes facts and devises solutions and alternatives.
Support and assistance to Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop users

Technical Experience

At least five years of progressive, hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting and analytics
At least five years of continuous, focused experience in the building, customizing and publishing of Tableau interactive reports, visualizations, dashboards and stories
Strong experience with Tableau (Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server)
Strong knowledge of SQL
Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups
Working proficiency with complex data from multiple data sources and building dashboards
